Scholarships

Dear Sir or Madam:

Since 1975, the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.—St. Louis Metropolitan Chapter (NABA-St Louis) has held an annual scholarship Gala where funds are awarded to deserving students based on several criteria including academic performance. Our luncheons are very successful affairs where corporations, sponsors and NABA benefit by furthering the careers of students, and enhancing the talent pool of bright and articulate minorities in the accounting and finance profession. Our scholarship program has provided scholarships to over 200 outstanding minority accounting and finance majors.

Atttached is the scholarship application for use by high school, college and graduate students. Please distribute it to deserving minority accounting and finance majors. The applications may be copied for distribution. Please see the application for a complete list of eligibility requirements.

The scholarship awards will be presented at the Annual Scholarship Gala on Friday, September 9th, 2011 at the Missouri Atheletic Club located at 405 Washington Ave. in St. Louis, MO. All completed scholarship applications and the accompanying materials must be postmarked by July 31st, 2011.
